Audrey Heller Fund
The Jewish Theatre of Bloomington is here due to the outstanding leadership of founder and producing artistic director, Audrey Heller. For 19 years Audrey has exhibited her creativity, deep knowledge and passion for the theatre producing stellar live and Zoom performances that both illuminate the Jewish experience and touch on universal human issues for diverse audiences in our community. Equally amazing is that Audrey has been full-time and unpaid in this role! As she contemplates retirement in the next year, she will leave a gap we can’t expect to fill with a volunteer. Replacing this driving force will be challenge enough!
Fortunately, a wonderful donor has generously offered to contribute a $100K match over three years to a fund dedicated to support a successor to Audrey, the Audrey Heller Jewish Theatre of Bloomington Fund at the Community Foundation of Bloomington and Monroe County. This is an unprecedented and momentous opportunity! We need YOU to make this $100K match a reality and ensure the continuation of JTB. Every gift will have a positive impact.
