ACTIVITY for ages 7-12
"Let's learn the many parts of what makes a play come to life
on stage: How Does a Storybook Become a Play?"
Jewish Theatre Bloomington will help children take a story from a book and "pull out" all the parts that make it a play. (characters, dialogue, set, costumes, lighting, props, etc.) Interactive activity with children, working together in a group.

2:30 to 3:30 Stories for Tweens
Storytelling in Celebration of Jewish Book Month
Multigenerational actors will read children's stories by Jewish authors.
Come listen to boardbook stories being read for littles and adventure stories for tweens that highlight Jewish culture, customs, and language. Interactive with children during reading and questions afterward welcome.
Refreshments (homemade Jewish cookies) will be served.
Admission is free, reservations are required and available through
Monroe County Public Library website.
